Blackburn Market have relaunched their website with a brand new, fresh look that firmly places the emphasis on the range of products available in the market.
The website gives users fast access to key information including opening times, trader information, news, events and contact details in a mobile friendly format.
Making the products the star of the show with practically 100% of the photographs on the website being images of food and products taken directly from market stalls.
Commenting on the new look website, David Smith, Commercial Manager for Blackburn Market said, “We wanted to give our website a fresh look and feeling but really wanted to tell the story about the range and quality of products that we sell on the market.
“From the stunning tropical flower arrangements at Le RainFlorist to the fresh fruit and vegetables at Scott Stewart, the website really opens your eyes to the wonderful range of fresh produce on the market as well as the numerous stalls selling almost everything from clothes to electricals.”
The market worked with local Blackburn-based company Square Cactus to realise the new look for the site.
David continued, “When we saw the first ideas for the website, we loved it, but the relaunched site has gone far beyond our expectations.”
Blackburn Market was voted as the Coach Friendly Shopping Destination of the Year in 2016 and has been attracting more coach trips to the market alongside a range of partner attractions such as Blackburn Cathedral and King George’s Hall.
